Carol Ann Tomlinson

Carol Ann is the Managing Director of CLS, and led the MBO (Management Buyout) from RWD in 2011, having worked for RWD since 2008.  Carol Ann is responsible for the overall strategy, direction and growth of the company driving CLS to deliver an exceptional service to its clients.

She joined RWD from Misys as their Global Director of Education, providing education solutions for Banking, Treasury and Health software.  Prior to Misys, she worked as Head of Education for PeopleSoft, delivering blended learning programmes to PeopleSoft clients.

Carol Ann has over 25 years’ experience working with Fortune 100 clients’ technology adoption programmes.  Her passion is for using innovative learning strategies and tools to help employees improve their performance, and is keen to share this to help organisations implement successful, sustainable programmes.

Carol Ann is a ProSci Certified Change Practitioner and a member of the Learning Performance Institute &  Learning Providers Connect Programme

Jack Lidher

Jack Lidher is a qualified account and is the Finance and IT Director of CLS having formed part of the MBO from RWD in 2011.  He is responsible for all financial controls at CLS and manages all aspects of general business finance.  This includes analysis of CLS project performance and monitoring financial trends and ensuring that all CLS projects achieve their financial objectives.  In addition, Jack is responsible for CLS’s IT Infrastructure and software solutions.

In his previous role at RWD, Jack was the UK Finance Manager with the RWD EMEA and MENA Finance Division.



Alistair Duncan

Alistair’s responsibilities include Business Development, Partner Management and Customer Relationship Management.  Alistair liaises with our clients, getting to grips with the detail of the requirement and negotiating the best deal for all involved.

Alistair joined RWD UK in 2007 having already enjoyed 18 successful years in the IT Training industry and before transferring over to the newly formed CLS in 2011.  He is involved in global projects and manages relationships with leading worldwide consultancies.

Alistair’s valuable experience prior to RWD included FDM Group as the Training Solutions Manager, having previously been at Spring IT Training and In Tuition Computer Training.

His work is a daily demonstration that our customers are at the centre of everything that we do.


Noel Cocker

Noel is the Consulting Director at CLS Performance Solutions who is responsible for the Project Managers as well as managing the Consultanting Division.

With a proven track record of success in Project Management, from designing and executing training programmes of varying sizes over a 12 year period,  Noel is fully experienced in managing stakeholders across a number of different business areas, and coordinating work with on and off-shore project resources. Assignments include work as an Education Project Manager for SAP UK Ltd and as a Learning Development Project Manager for Lawson Learning Company. 

He has specialist experience in SAP Claims Management training and implementation, and 15 years extensive experience within the UK Retail Banking and Insurance industry.

Noel has also worked for leading UK financial services organisations and a major utilities company to manage successful training development and delivery programmes along with the creation of a familiarisation session for major consumer products companies. He has vast experience in working with a number of training tools to ensure customer satisfaction from managing installation to implementation, including creating document standards and developer learning paths.

Noel is a ProSci Certified Change Practitioner and a member of the Learning & Performance Institute


Barney Bowers

Barney Bowers

Barney is a Consulting Manager at CLS Performance Solutions and is responsible for managing a team of consultants.  He has extensive experience in managing large education projects and teams for ERP implementations with large end-user populations.  He performs end-to-end training management, including training needs analysis, strategy, build and design, creation of blended training materials, training environment set-up and administration, organising & scheduling training and coaching client staff.

Barney is experienced in the use of different document development acceleration tools and their deployment for eLearning and classroom training.  His ERP functional expertise includes APO, MM, Warehouse Management, Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, HR, CRM and Business Intelligence.
